Northwest Eye Physicians offer LASIK screenings for our patients so we can determine if you are a good candidate for surgery. Our screening process only requires 20 minutes of your time and we have appointments that are available at your convenience. If you wear contact lenses, you do not need to remove them prior to your visit.

We will also be asking you about your eye history and medical history during our LASIK screening. We will need to know about any unstable vision or any eye conditions or diseases that you have had. There are also certain medical conditions or diseases that can prevent you from becoming a candidate for LASIK.
We may also not recommend LASIK if you have large pupils or if you have thin corneas or abnormal corneal curvature. All of these conditions tell us that your cornea might not be strong enough for LASIK surgery.
